Conor McGregor has publicly expressed his condolences following the tragic death of Arthur Jones, the eldest brother of UFC legend Jon Jones. Arthur, a former NFL defensive lineman and Super Bowl champion, died at age 39.

In a message posted to X, McGregor wrote:

“Very sad to hear this news, Arthur was a great man, a friendly giant! God speed Arthur Jones.”

Arthur, who played in the NFL for teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts, and Washington, was known not only for his athletic achievements but also his presence and personality. The cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed.

McGregor’s tribute joins those from across the MMA community mourning the loss and offering support to Jon Jones and the Jones family.
