In the UFC Perth main event, light heavyweight contender Carlos Ulberg delivered a swift and emphatic victory over Dominick Reyes.

Ulberg came out using feints to draw Reyes in, trading leg kicks before landing a strong right hand. Reyes attempted a high kick and was caught by a counter jab. Seizing the moment as Reyes moved forward, Ulberg followed up with a left jab and a brutal right hand that sent Reyes to the canvas. A final strike on the ground ensured the finish, with the official time of the stoppage recorded at 4:27 of round one.

With the win, Ulberg’s UFC win streak extended to nine straight, enhancing his claim as a rising threat in the 205-lb division. Meanwhile, the loss puts Reyes’ resurgence on hold. It is noteworthy to mention that, Jon Jones, the man Reyes arguably beat, was quick to mock him for this lose by sharing his reaction on his X profile.
